While the intense hurricane level winds are forecasted for the western coast region there is a possibility that some of these gusting winds could reach further inland areas as well. Even though Boca Raton may not bear the impact of the hurricane it’s worth noting that strong winds could lead to tree damage and potential power disruptions.
Even if the storm surge doesn’t hit directly here in Boca Raton itself winds and the risk of flooding should be reason for residents to double check their home security and have emergency supplies at hand just in case.

The storm is expected to get stronger and larger as it moves towards the coast of Florida by Wednesday while still being a dangerous hurricane according to experts predictions. There are concerns, about a substantial and life threatening storm surge along areas of the west coast that could put residents at risk. Authorities are recommending evacuations. Advising locals to follow instructions if evacuation orders are issued.
Western Florida has been issued a Hurricane Warning as Milton is predicted to stay strong while crossing the Florida Peninsula. The imminent danger of life threatening winds and gusty conditions expanding highlights the urgency for residents in warned areas to complete their safety measures to safeguard lives and property by the days end.
Widespread heavy rain will remain a concern, in regions far from the storm until Thursday morning. This could lead to types of flooding such as flash floods in urban areas and rivers overflowing their banks.
