BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — If you’re heading out early along Glades Road or cutting down Lyons toward the western neighborhoods, it’s a pretty classic “dry-season” feel this morning — bright sky, a steady breeze, and not much to slow you down.

For Boca Raton, the National Weather Service forecast keeps it mostly sunny today with a high near 77°F. The bigger story is the wind: east around 14 mph, with gusts up to about 21 mph. Along the I-95 corridor and especially near the Intracoastal, that breeze will be noticeable. It’s the kind of wind that flips umbrellas, pushes shopping carts around parking lots, and makes the beach feel cooler than the thermometer suggests.

Rain is not part of the plan today. There’s no mention of showers or storms for Wednesday in the forecast. So for daytime errands, after-school pickup, or a walk around the neighborhood, conditions look dry.

Tonight doesn’t drop much. The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and a low around 71°F, with an east wind 11 to 13 mph and gusts as high as 18 mph. So it stays mild, still a bit breezy, and clouds increase some compared to the daytime look.

One thing to keep in mind if you’re planning time on the sand: the beach may look calm from the boardwalk, but the current situation is still serious enough for the National Weather Service to keep a rip current statement posted (details below). Even on sunny days, rip currents can be the hazard that sneaks up on people.

B. Current Advisories / Watches / Warnings

Rip Current Statement is posted through Thursday, December 18, 2025, until 7:00 PM EST.

C. 7 Day Outlook

Today (Wednesday): Mostly sunny with a high near 77°F. East wind around 14 mph, with gusts up to 21 mph. Dry pattern holds. Breezy near the beach and open areas.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a low around 71°F. East wind 11–13 mph with gusts up to 18 mph.

Thursday: The pattern starts to loosen up a little. The forecast calls for a slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. High near 80°F. Winds turn southeast 11–14 mph, with gusts up to 22 mph. Rain chance: 30%. If anything pops up, the timing to watch is the afternoon into early evening — when people are still on the roads and kids are still outside.

Thursday Night: A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms with mostly cloudy skies. Low around 72°F. Southeast wind around 10 mph. Not a washout signal, but it’s the first real bump in rain potential in this stretch.

Friday: Partly sunny and warmer, with a high near 84°F. Winds shift to the west around 9 mph. Rain isn’t highlighted in the forecast for the day. It looks more like a warmer, quieter setup after Thursday’s shower/storm chances.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 69°F. Wind turns north 7–9 mph, which can bring a slightly cooler feel late at night and early morning, especially away from the barrier island.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 80°F. Wind goes back to the east around 11 mph. Looks dry and comfortable for outdoor plans.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 70°F. East wind 6–9 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 81°F. East wind 6–11 mph. Another dry-looking day, with the onshore breeze still in play.

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 79°F. (No rain chance is called out in the forecast.)
Monday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 70°F.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 78°F. The overall theme stays steady: warm afternoons, mild nights, and a generally dry stretch outside of Thursday into Thursday night.
