POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — A shooting in Pompano Beach took the life of 18-year-old Lamarius Walker in September of 2022 and BSO is still looking for answers.

BSO’s Homicide Unit detectives are urging the community to come forward with tips or information to help solve a shooting that took the life of an 18-year-old.

Shortly after 10 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2022, BSO received 9-1-1 calls regarding a shooting in the 2800 block of Northwest Second Street in Pompano Beach. The first arriving BSO deputies located a male, identified as Lamarius Walker, in the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced Walker deceased on the scene.

BSO Homicide and Crime Scene Units responded to investigate. Detectives believe there were multiple subjects involved in the shooting.

Any Crime Stoppers tip that leads to an arrest in this case is eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
