PARKLAND, FL (Boca Post) — BSO is investigating a threat that forced a lockdown at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on the day after the 5 year anniversary of the massacre.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 1:51 p.m., Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies received information regarding a possible threat at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School located at 5901 Pines Island Road in Parkland. BSO Threat Management Unit was notified to investigate. The school has been placed on secure status as units investigate. No immediate threat has been identified at this time, and students and staff are safe. The investigation continues.

The Coral Springs Police Department reported that a couple of their schools were also placed on a code “secure” lockdown when BSO responded to MSD near the Coral Springs and Parkland border.

All lockdowns were lifted and kids were dismissed safely.
