PBSO Traffic Homicide Unit detectives were notified and began an investigation into the incident.

Detectives tell us that a Ford Taurus, driven by Arturo Tolento, was traveling southbound on Haverhill Road attempting to turn east onto Sunny Lane. Meanwhile, a Mitsubishi Montero, driven by Jerry Mainer, was traveling northbound on Haverhill Road.

As Tolento turned his vehicle, it entered the travel path of Mainer’s Montero. The Taurus is redirected northbound and comes to rest at the intersection of Haverhill Road and Royal Court South. The Montero came to rest facing west across the northbound lanes.
