February 2nd and 3rd have been designated as contingency dates. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Avoid the area if possible.
January 31st (11pm – 5am) – Both Directions I95 CLOSED
I-95 Northbound and Southbound at Glades Road will be closed completely from 11pm to 5am.
February 1st (11pm – 5am) – Southbound I95 CLOSED
I-95 Southbound at Glades Road will be closed completely from 11pm-5am. Northbound will not be affected.
According to FDOT, these closures are required for a bridge beam setting as part of the “95 Express Lanes Phase 3B-2 Project” which will extend the Express lanes north from south of Glades road to south of Linton Boulevard. The end result of this project will increase the amount of express lanes while not affecting the number of general use lanes.
