Boca Raton, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — The Florida Department of Transportation tells us that next week all southbound lanes of I-95 will be closed at Congress Avenue nightly from Tuesday (2/15/22) through Thursday (2/17/22).

FDOT tells us that between the hours of 11pm and 5am, all southbound traffic will be detoured around Yamato Road due to the overnight construction. Motorists will detour via I-95 exit ramp to Yamato Road, Jog Road, and Glades Road.

FDOT says that Monday, February 21st and 22nd will be designated as contingency nights if needed.

FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The scheduled closure is required as part of the 95 Express Lanes Phase 3B-2 project which has been the reason for the previous I-95 closures in the Boca Raton area. The 95 Express Lanes Phase 3B-2 Project will extend the Express lanes north from south of Glades road to south of Linton Boulevard.
