Michael Wilson Of North Lauderdale Passed Away After Deadly Crash
POMPANO BEAHC, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Michael Wilson of North Lauderdale passed away after he crashed his motorcycle into an SUV on Friday, October 21st, 2022.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, detectives from the Traffic Homicide Unit are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Pompano Beach.
At approximately 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to 500 E. Sample Road regarding a traffic crash. The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a 2016 Lincoln SPUV, Jeannie Johnson, was stopped in the eastbound outside left turn lane at East Sample Road and Northeast Third Avenue.
At that time, the driver of a 2007 Honda 1000 motorcycle, Michael Wilson, veered into the left turn lane, which was occupied by the Lincoln, and struck the rear passenger side of the vehicle. Wilson was ejected from the motorcycle. Paramedics transported him to Broward Health North, where he was pronounced deceased on Friday, Oct. 21.
