05-C Has Been Named! Blue Lake Elementary School. Principal Seth Moldovan.

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2022) — Boca Raton’s newest elementary school, which was previously only known as 05-C, has been named Blue Lake Elementary School.

The name given to Blue Lake was a tribute to tech giant IBM which was founded in Boca Raton, FL. A principal has officially been announced as well. Seth Moldovan, formerly the principal of Verde K-8, was announced by the School Board to be the first principal of Blue Lake Elementary.

The school is expected to be open for the Fall of 2022. Of course the school will help alleviate the overcrowded neighboring schools. The process of re-zoning the areas students will be pulled from was the topic of local criticism as previously reported by Boca Post. Some of our pervious reporting included discussion of the Proposed Elementary School Shuffle.
