BOYNTON BEACH FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — s

Kassidy Sottilare, 27, sent a student a friend request on Instagram where the two allegedly had inappropriate conversations. Sottilare told the 14-year-old girl that she wanted to spoil and f-ck with her. Sottilare told the 14-year-old student that she knows what girls like, how they like it, and where the right spots are. Sottilare said she wanted the 14-year-old girl to sit on her lap and give her a kiss with or without clothing on.

At some point, the girl’s mother found out about the messaging and went to the police with everything. Boynton Beach Police Department conducted an interview and gained a sworn statement from the girl. Police investigators then posed as the girl and told Sottilare that she wanted to meet up with her. Sottilare showed up and instead of meeting the 14-year-old girl, she met law enforcement officers.

Kassidy Sottilare is currently in PBSO custody facing the following charges:

  • SEX OFFENSE – AUTH FIGURE SOLICIT ENG ROMANTIC REL W STUDENT
  • OBSCENE COMMUNICATION – TRAVEL TO MEET AFTER USE COMPUT TO LURE CHILD
  • MOVING TRAFFIC VIOL – DRIVE WHILE LIC SUSP HABITUAL OFFENDE

The School District of Palm Beach County sent out a message to the media following the arrest highlighting that Sottilare has served as a volunteer cheerleading coach. This arrest comes only a few days after the district announced it is considering hiring 18-year-olds as substitute teachers.
