7 PM UPDATE: Sources tell Boca Post that the 9-1-1 service has been restored in Palm Beach County.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 9-1-1 system is down in Palm Beach County, call 561-368-6201 instead.

The 9-1-1 system in Palm Beach County is not working as of 6 PM EST on Tuesday, July 19th, 2023.

Emergency leaders are urging citizens that if they need 911 to call 561-368-6201.

At this time, it is unclear why the 9-1-1 system is down or for how much longer it is expected to be down.
