LOXAHATCHEE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — A 14-year-old West Lake boy is in critical condition following a golf cart accident in Loxahatchee.
The accident happened at 5:21 PM on Friday, July 21st, 2023.
According to PBSO, a golf cart, occupied by 4 teenagers, was traveling north on Grapeview Blvd. While the golf cart was making a left turn onto Tangerine Blvd., the rear passenger fell off. Deputies note that the rear passenger, a 14-year-old boy, was standing on the flatbed part of the golf cart, directly behind the front passenger.
The teenage boy suffered an injury to the back of his head and lost consciousness. The teen was transported to the hospital for treatment of a serious injury.
Out of respect for the families, Boca Post is not releasing the names of any of the underage parties involved.
