Damaine Wagstaffe Of Greenacres Killed In Single Vehicle Crash

LANTANA, FL (Boca Post) — PBSO tells Boca Post that Damaine Wagstaffe of Greenacres was killed in a single-vehicle crash where investigators report that he was driving too fast for conditions.

PBSO traffic homicide investigators report that Damaine Wagstaffe was traveling northbound in a 2010 Honda Civic on Haverhill Road as he approached Lantana Road. Investigators report that he was traveling too fast for the conditions, drove out of his lane, and drove into the east curb.

The vehicle continued along the curb for more than 200 feet prior to the driver steering to the left. The vehicle began to rotate as it traveled across the northbound lane towards the median. Upon entering the grass median, the vehicle overturned onto its passenger side. The driver was not utilizing his seat belt; therefore, he was partially ejected through the passenger front window while the vehicle overturned. He became entrapped under the vehicle.

Wagstaffe was found unresponsive and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
