ACCIDENT: Train Crash In Lantana Sends 3 To Trauma Unit
Three injured in early morning vehicle collision.
LANTANA, FL (Boca Post) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is reporting that early this morning they responded to S 3rd Street in response to a vehicle and train collision where they mitigated all hazards and transported 3 to a local trauma hospital.
The units arriving from Battalion 3 first arrived and found a single vehicle off of the train tracks with heavy damage.
All hazards were mitigated and 3 patients were transported to a local trauma hospital.
The images are what is left of the vehicle, which appears to be a Tesla X, after the collision with the train.
Cause of accident is currently unknown.
