The National Weather Service has issued another tornado watch until 5 PM this afternoon. The watch will again include all of South Florida including Broward, Collier, Hendry, Monroe, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties.

FLORIDA – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Most of South Florida is under a tornado watch due to Hurricane Ian’s approach to the peninsula’s west coast.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch which will be in effect until 5 AM Wednesday Morning (September 28th, 2022). The watch goes into effect immediately for Broward, Collier, Hendry, Monroe, Miami-Date, and Palm Beach Counties.
This tornado watch comes while Hurricane Ian, the life-threatening storm is gaining strength in the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to slam the west coast of Florida tomorrow.
Hurricane Ian is expected to produce heavy rainfall across most of the Florida Peninsula over the coming days. Flash flooding is expected to be an issue in Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
