WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Olivia Maly of Boca Raton was killed in a West Palm Beach car accident leaving another seriously injured early Wednesday morning.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, Olivia Maly was traveling northbound on South Military Trail, approaching the intersection of Forest Hill Boulevard at a high rate of speed in her 2021 Dodge Challenger.

Patrice C. Sajous was traveling westbound on Forest Hill Boulevard attempting to traverse the intersection of South Military Trail, within the outside lane of travel.

As Sajous entered the intersection, Maly collided with Sajous at a high rate of speed.

During the collision, the front driver side of Maly’s Challenger impacted the front driver side of Sajous’ Acura ILX. Maly was redirected in a north-westerly direction, over the center median, and through all three southbound lanes before impacting a power pole. During the collision with the power pole, The rear of Maly’s Challenger impacted the pole which redirected the car back into the roadway where it came to a final rest upside down (facing west) within the outside southbound lane of travel of South Military Trail.

Sajous was redirected in a northbound direction while rotating in a clockwise manner before coming to rest within the center lane of the northbound South Military Trail.

PBSO traffic investigators indicate that alcohol and/or drugs may have been a factor in the crash.
