Sharon Lewin Passes Away Crashing Into Her Garage And Neighbors Home In West Delray Beach
DELRAY BEACH, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that 81-year-old Sharon Lewin has died after crashing into her Valencia Falls home.
Sharon Lewin, 81, of the 13000 block of Verda Lake Circle in Delray Beach, was parked in her garage on Vedra Lake Circle when she drove her 2008 Lexus forward into the inside wall of the garage. This caused a collision between the front of the Lexus and the garage wall. Lewin then drove the Lexus in reverse, exiting the garage, in a northern direction across Verda Lake Circle, and into the yard of a neighbor.
The rear of Lexus then collided with a utility pole and continued in reverse northbound. The rear of the Lexus then collided with the southeast corner of a neighbor’s house. The Lexus then came to rest facing southbound against the house.
Sharon Lewin was pronounced dead on the scene by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
