ROAD RE-OPENS: After East Boca Fire Burns All Night
Boca Raton Fire Rescue Works Structure Fire All Night. Partial Road Closures Still In Affect.
Boca Raton, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Boca Raton Police Department announcing that Ocean Blvd is re-opens after it’s closure since about 9PM Sunday night due to crews working a structure fire near Palmetto Park Road and Ocean Blvd near 500 S Ocean Blvd.
This is after Boca Raton Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire call located at 155 S. Ocean Blvd. on Sunday, January 2nd, 2022. Responding firefighters worked throughout the night to contain the structure fire causing some localized road closures near Palmetto Park Road and Ocean Blvd.

According to a report from the Boca Raton Fire Rescue Services Department, they responded to a structure fire call at the abandoned apartment complex. Firefighters began fire suppression but the blaze consumed 1/3 of the building before it could be extinguished. No injuries were reported to anyone as a result of this incident. A fire investigation is underway to determine the cause of the condo fire.
The fire has been extinguished and all roads have been re-opened.
Boca Raton Police Department is reporting that Palm Ave is remaining closed at this time.
Boca Raton Police Department tells us that Ocean Boulevard has now been re-opened in both directions. Other road closures in the area are still in affect.
