BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — A large law enforcement response is visible following a code red activation at Boca Raton High School.
UPDATE @ 1:59 pm: At this time, all is clear. The Palm Beach County School District is providing additional communication to parents and staff. The Palm Beach County School Police Department continues to investigate the anonymous threat.
UPDATE @ 1:19pm: Officers remain on scene for final sweep.
UPDATE @ 1:05pm: Still nothing suspicious found. Officers remain on scene.
UPDATE @ 12:50pm: At this time, nothing suspicious has been located. Officers continue to check as a precaution.
UPDATE @ 12:40pm: So far there is no sign of anything wrong. Officers are still checking to be on the safe side.
UPDATE @ 12:35pm: Any parents who are going to the school should do so at the parking (Cinemark). lot There 3200 will Airport also Road be officers at that location so that parents can be informed while the search is still ongoing.
UPDATE @ 12:30pm: The police is still searching the school and as of now there is no evidence of anything suspicous. This is in relation to SaferWatch activation which led to the police response.
According to Boca Raton Police, Boca Raton Police Department has responded to Boca Raton High School along with Palm Beach County School District Police because of a report of a person with a weapon inside the school. Several officers are patrolling the school in order to look for any potential threat. More information as it comes in.
