Brightline Limits Operations Due To Bridge Issue
BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Brightline tells us that the high-speed train service is limiting operations between Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach due to a bridge issue in Fort Lauderdale.
The company says that an operating issue at the New River Bridge in Fort Lauderdale has caused the company to suspend all operations between Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, and Miami. This has also affected operations to the north as Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach will only be operating northbound trains while the issue is being resolved.
Brightline says that Florida East Coast Railway is on the scene as they are responsible for maintaining the bridge.
