BELLE GLADE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide after two men were found shot to death in Belle Glade late on October 25, 2023.

Boca Post first reported this story two years ago. PBSO is still seeking answers.

Deputies responded to 27 Canal Street around 9:40 p.m. after reports of gunfire in the area. When they arrived, they found Eddie C. Willingham and Allah Lawrence dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Detectives from PBSO’s Violent Crimes Division processed the scene and have been investigating since the night of the shooting. As of now, no suspect or motive has been identified.

PBSO said the shooting “occurred outside 27 Canal Street in Belle Glade” and urged anyone with information to contact detectives. “If anyone has information on the perpetrator or perpetrators of this homicide, please contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office at 561-688-3400,” the agency stated.

The investigation remains active as detectives work to determine who was responsible for the deadly shooting.
