TAMARAC, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — The Traffic Homicide Unit of the Broward Sheriffs Office is looking into a multiple car accident that resulted in the death of a pedestrian, in Tamarac.

6 a.m on Tuesday morning of October 1st Broward County Regional Communications got a call about an accident involving a pedestrian and two cars at Northwest 70th Avenue and West McNab Road in Tamarac area. Deputies from BSO and Tamarac Fire Rescue promptly arrived at the scene. Initial investigations indicate that the driver of a 2005 BMW 325CI was driving towards the west, on West McNab Road in the lane while an adult male pedestrian was crossing the road from south to north simultaneously.
The pedestrian was hit by a BMW. Fell to the ground in the middle of the road before being hit by another vehicle suspected to be a pickup truck according to detectives beliefs.The BMW driver stayed at the scene. Assisted investigators while the driver of the second vehicle left without stopping.Paramedics later declared the pedestrian dead.

BSOs Traffic Homicide Unit detectives arrived to look into the details of the accident.
