Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit say 15-year-old Kela Murray, reported missing from Pompano Beach last week, has been safely reunited with her family.
According to detectives, Murray returned to her family on Wednesday, November 2. A missing person alert was issued for Murray on October 28, after she was last seen on Thursday, October 27, near 1201 N.W. Sixth Avenue in Pompano Beach.

POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — The Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in locating 15-year-old Kela Murray from Pompano Beach who they say has been missing since Thursday, October 27th, 2022.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office says that the Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help to locate 15-year-old Kela Murray missing from Pompano Beach.

According to detectives, Murray was last seen on Thursday, Oct. 27, at around 6:17 a.m. near the 1200 block of N.W. Sixth Avenue in Pompano Beach. Murray was last seen wearing jean shorts, a white T-shirt, a gray sweater, and white sneakers. According to her family, Murray experiences anxiety.

Murray is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds. Murray has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Murray’s whereabouts should contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274 or the BSO non-emergency number 954-764- HELP(4357).
