PARKLAND, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — The City of Parkland tells Boca Post that the city will close a lane of Holmberg Road each day this weekend as part of a road improvement project, diverting affected traffic.

The city says the closures are part of a Mobility Improvement project by the Florida Department of Transportation.

Expected Closures

Saturday – 8/27/22 – Eastbound lane of Holmberg Road between Heron Bay Boulevard and Pine Island Road will be closed.

Sunday – 8/28/22 – Westbound lane of Holmberg Road between Heron Bay Boulevard and Pine Island Road will be closed.

All traffic will be diverted along the detours shown in the image above, using Heron Bay Boulevard and Pine Island Road to avoid the closed section of Holberg Road. The city says that detour signs are posted to prepare drivers.

Expect traffic delays due to the modified traffic pattern.
