Deadly Crash 1 Dead In Oakland Park Car Crash
OAKLAND PARK, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Broward Sheriff’s Office is confirming one person is deceased from an overnight single-vehicle accident in Oakland Park near Oakland Park Blvd. and Dixie Highway.
The crash occurred at approximately 1:18 am this morning near the intersection of Oakland Park and Dixie. BSO is confirming one death as a result of the accident. Oakland Park Fire Rescue responded and found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The fire department quickly extinguished the fire.
Traffic homicide investigators from BSO were called to investigate the circumstances around the accident. BSO calling this an ongoing investigation.

At approximately 1:18 a.m. Broward Sheriff’s Office Oakland Park District deputies responded to a single vehicle crash near the area of Dixie Highway and Oakland Park Boulevard. Oakland Park Fire Rescue also responded, and upon arrival the vehicle was fully engulfed. Fire Rescue extinguished the fire. One person was deceased on scene.
Traffic homicide detectives were notified and are investigating the circumstances surrounding this crash. The east and westbound lanes of Oakland Park Boulevard between Dixie Highway and Northeast Sixth Avenue are shutdown. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes.
The investigation continues.
