After receiving notification around 6;20 a.m. detectives from the BSO Traffic Homicide Unit promptly arrived at the scene where a fatal accident occurred involving a vehicle and a pedestrian near the 3400 block of North State Road 7.

Initial findings from the on site investigation indicate that Josette Marie Avril was driving a 2023 Kia Soul heading southbound on North State Road 7 in the right lane.
