BSO SHOOTING: FDLE Investigates Deputy-Involved Shooting

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — Large law enforcement presence at scene of BSO shooting in Fort Lauderdale.
At approximately 1:49 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, Broward County Regional Communications received a report of a domestic disturbance with a firearm at a residence in Broward County. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded. The armed subject involved in that incident fled the scene. Following a pursuit of the armed subject, BSO deputies were forced to fire their weapons in the area of Southwest First Street and Southwest 21st Terrace in Fort Lauderdale. The subject was pronounced deceased on scene. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the circumstances of the fatal shooting. Media should stage at Southwest 21st Terrace near the Tri-Rail station.
