Serious Crash Sends 4 To Hospital, Closes Major Intersection In Cooper City
COOPER CITY, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — A major two-vehicle crash sent 3 adults and 1 juvenile to the hospital and resulted in the closure of Pine Island Road (Douglas Road) and Sheridan Street in Cooper City on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 1:58 p.m., Broward Regional Communications received a crash call with injuries at the intersection of Pine Island Road (also known as Douglas Road) and Sheridan Street in Cooper City.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded and located a two-car collision. The drivers of both vehicles, adult males, were transported to the hospital as trauma alerts. An adult female and a female juvenile were also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Detectives responded to the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. The investigation continues.
