COCONUT CREEK, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Coconut Creek Police are investigating the death of a 3-year-old boy who a neighbor pulled from a lake near Cocoplum Circle in Coconut Creek on Friday evening.

Police say the boy was pulled from a lake near his home by a neighbor and rushed to Broward Health in Coral Springs where he later died.

While the call was first reported as a drowning, Coconut Creek Police tell Boca Post that this is still a very active investigation.
