DELRAY BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — A woman was shot on the rooftop level of a busy Delray Beach parking garage.

On Saturday, March 30th, at 2:11 a.m., the Delray Beach police rushed to a parking garage located at 95 NE 1st Avenue following reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a large group had gathered on the top floor of the parking garage, where gunfire erupted. Further investigations revealed that a woman attending the gathering was shot in the ankle. Her friends took her to the hospital and fortunately, her injuries are not life threatening. The Delray Beach Police Department is actively looking into this incident. As of now, the shooter is still on the loose and authorities are diligently working to apprehend them.
