BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton woman plead guilty to grand theft and burglary charges last week following an incident in June where she allegedly stole a neighbor’s Shih Tzu puppy after accusing them of mistreating the pooch.

The puppy theft occurred at the Belaire Towers of Boca in June of 2021. Temple Inman was observed yelling at a neighbor’s front door, accusing them of mistreating their puppy. The puppy was later stolen from their apartment. The next day, Inman was observed walking the puppy in the neighborhood. When the victims of the theft confronted Inman about their suspicions of the puppy being their ‘Binnie’, she responded “fuck you’re puppy”.

When the original owners called for the puppy, Inman just pulled the leash hard causing Binnie to violently flip over.

An investigation by PBSO confirmed that Inman stole the puppy and she was later arrested for the theft. Inman has recently pleaded guilty to the pooch theft and has been sentenced to 18 months in a Florida prison.

Inman is currently in the Florida Women’s Reception Center in Ocala, FL but will soon be transferred to another facility where she will serve her time. Inman is serving a sentence for the following charges:

  • 03/13/2020 FELONY DUI 4TH/SUBS.CONV. 01/24/2022 PALM BEACH 2002448 1Y 6M 0D
