Woman Found Dead On Alligator Alley, Who Left Her There

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) — The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a woman found on Alligator Alley.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, Jan. 4, Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Crime Scene unit detectives responded to a report of a deceased woman found along Alligator Alley near mile marker 42.
Detectives conducted a death investigation and determined that the deceased is Ivy Bedell, 12/17/2002. The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed an autopsy and determined that there are no signs of foul play. The cause of death is pending toxicology results. BSO Homicide Unit detectives are continuing to conduct a criminal investigation surrounding the circumstances of where and why her body was left along the roadway.
Detectives are asking for anyone with information on Bedell’s death to contact BSO Homicide Detective Bozena Gajda-Morales at 954-321-4325.
