The Traffic Homicide investigators at Broward Sheriffs Office are interested, in talking to the person driving a Nissan Rogue involved in a collision that took the life of a man on Sunday morning in Pompano Beach.
At 4;15 a.m on Sunday morning of October 13th in Pompano Beachs 1700 block of North Dixie Highway area the Broward County Regional Communications received a report concerning an individual spotted in the middle of the road. Deputies from BSO and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue promptly arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, at the location emergency responders found an adult man lying on the road with injuries that suggested he had been hit by a vehicle. Unfortunately the victim was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators have determined that the car involved in the hit and run incident is likely a silver Nissan Rogue from the years 2008, to 2013 based on the vehicle parts found at the crash site.
