BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — Boynton Beach PD has 1 suspect in custody after responding to an armed robbery in progress near Industrial and Old Boynton.

Boynton Beach PD is telling us that the suspect is in custody after a brief standoff closed the roadway nearby.

This is after an armed robbery was reported at a local business. The business was reported to be a Beauty Supply store (see below) by several witnesses. All neighboring businesses were evacuated, according to Police.
