The investigation revealed the driver of the Audi station wagon failed to stop at the red light striking the Honda Civic and pushing it through the intersection into two vehicles stopped at the red light on northbound Dixie Hwy.

One passenger from the Honda was ejected from the vehicle’s left rear and died on the scene. The second passenger from the Honda fled the scene but was later found at West Boca Medical center. The Honda’s driver, a 20-something-year-old female, was taken to Delray Medical Center as a trauma alert.

The driver of the Audi, identified as 28-year-old Duane Williamson of Deerfield Beach, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the two other vehicles were not injured.
