As of late Tuesday night, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has not confirmed any details about the reported incident at the Walmart in West Boca Raton, including whether a shooting, explosive device, or other criminal activity occurred. Boca Post has requested information from PBSO but has not received official confirmation as of publication.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue personnel were seen staging in the neighboring Lowes parking lot.

A spokesperson with the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office has confirmed with Boca Post that an individual has committed suicide in their car. It is unclear if there was ever a "Standoff" with deputies or if the large response observed was out of an abundance of caution.
