Charlotte Rothfarm Of Boca Raton Passes Away After Deadly Accident

BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — 92-year-old Charlotte Rothfarm of Boca Raton has passed away from injuries she sustained in a traffic accident near Boca Pointe in Boca Raton.

PBSO traffic homicide investigators provide the following description of the accident that occurred near 18th Street and Boca Pointe Drive in Boca Raton on 7/2/22:

Susan Zacharias, of Boynton Beach, was driving a Kia Soul eastbound on SW 18th St. at the intersection of Boca Pointe Dr. Maria Salazar, of Boca Raton, was driving a Toyota RAV 4 westbound towards the same intersection. As Salazar entered the intersection, Zacharias turned left and struck Salazar, causing Salazar’s RAV-4 to skid and then overturn.

The driving pattern was verified by a witness, according to PBSO.

Charlotte Rothfarb, a passenger in Zacharias’s vehicle was originally transported to Delray Medical with injuries but was pronounced deceased on July 21, 2022 while at the hospital.
