UPDATE

PBSO is now saying that they not suspect any foul play in the car fire that left a man dead. According to the most recent update from PBSO, detectives believe the the incident is accidental in nature and there is no indication of a crime.

PBSO also says that the investigation is still very active.

LOXAHATCHEE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — PBSO is investigating a car fire in Loxahatchee they say left a man dead.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, shortly before noon, deputies responded to a car fire in the 15800 block of 87th Road North, Loxahatchee. Upon arrival deputies learned an adult male occupant was removed from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division have arrived on scene to investigate this incident further.  We are still in the preliminary stages of this investigation

PBSO is calling the car fire a suspicious incident at this time.
