BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit have safely located 15-year-old Dacarri Jackson and reunited him with his family, BSO said.

The update follows a missing persons alert issued March 4. BSO said Jackson was last seen near the 5100 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes.

BSO’s Missing Persons Unit handled the case and announced the outcome. The agency did not release additional details about where Jackson was found or the circumstances of his disappearance.

For residents in Boca Raton and across South Florida, the takeaway is that the missing persons alert has been resolved and the teen has been reunited with family. Anyone who sees a missing persons alert should continue to share accurate information from official sources and contact law enforcement with tips when an alert is active.

BSO did not announce any further action tied to the alert.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons detectives are searching for a 15-year-old who was last seen in Lauderdale Lakes.

BSO said detectives with its Missing Persons Unit are seeking the public’s help locating Daccari Jackson, 15. BSO reported Jackson was last seen at about 1 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, near the 5100 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes.

BSO described Jackson as about 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 140 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray track-style pants and gray Puma shoes.

The search and the public information effort are being handled by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit. BSO is asking anyone with information on Jackson’s whereabouts to contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274.

BSO also provided its non-emergency number, 954-764-HELP (4357), for tips.

Residents who may have seen Jackson near West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes around the time he was last seen, or who have information about where he may be now, are being asked to call. For emergencies, BSO reminds the public to dial 911.
