LAKE WORTH, FL (Boca Post) — Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that 65-year-old William McDougal has been killed after he crashed his Harley Davidson Electra Glide into another vehicle.

William McDougal, 65, of West Palm Beach, passed away after crashing his Harley Davidson into a vehicle near Kirk Road and 10th Avenue North on July 28th, 2022.

PBSO Traffic Homicide investigators say that McDougal and another driver, Angela Vandergrifft, were traveling westbound on 10th Ave North. Both vehicles proceeded through the intersection at Kirk Road under a green light when McDougal’s motorcycle collided with Vandergrifft’s Hyundai Accent. McDougal struck the rear driver’s side corner. McDougal then lost control of the bike and was ejected from it.

Investigators say that McDougal was not wearing a helmet.

McDougal was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center by PBCFR where he was pronounced dead.

Sadly, Boca Post has learned that the other driver is McDougal’s fiance.
