PBSO has identified and arrested the suspect they say is responsible for stealing the expensive birds in Lake Worth Beach.

According to PBSO, Damian Ramallo, was found to be the suspect that burglarized the home in the City of Lake Worth and stole over $ 10,000 in Conure birds. Ramallo was located, arrested, and booked into the PBC Jail on the charges listed below.

Ramallo was arrested and charged with the following charges:

  • LARC – GRAND THEFT 750 LESS THAN 5K DOLS
  • BURGL – DWELLING STRUCTURE OR CONVEYANCE ARMED
  • LARC – PETIT THEFT MERCH FARM TRANSIT 2+ PRIOR CONV

LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — PBSO is looking for this man who they say stole over 69 birds valued over $10,000 from a home in Lake Worth Beach.

According to PBSO, the victim advised she received a phone call from a family member stating that someone could be seen on a security camera inside of her home. After returning home the victim discovered that approximately 69 birds had been taken from their cages. The birds, valued over $ 10,000 were described as; 20 cockatoos, 10 baby cockatoos, 4 parakeets, 15 canaries, and twenty pigeons.

At 8:35 am, the victim’s security footage shows a male wearing a dark hat with an orange brim, camo neck gator over his face, blue sweatshirt, jeans, and a large fixed blade knife on his right hip. At approximately 9:35 am, it appears the same suspect returned this time wearing a camo jacket instead of a blue sweatshirt. His face was uncovered identifying him as a W/M with a light beard.
