Former Shooters Employee Shot And Killed Shooters Employee

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (Boca Post) — A former Shooters employee is under arrest for premeditated murder after shooting and killing an employee he used to work with at Shooters.

Angel Candelaria, 33, has been charged with 1st-degree homicide after being captured by Fort Lauderdale Police yesterday evening. This was after he allegedly went to Shooters to confront the victim, a current Shooters employee. The victim, Jordan Siddiq, 35, from Weston, was confronted by Candelaria while he was just showing up for his shift at the restaurant. Siddiq was shot multiple times by the former shooter employee.

Arriving officers rendered aid to Siddiq who was then transported to Broward Health by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue as a trauma alert where he was pronounced deceased.

Candelaria was taken into custody a short time after when he was found at 2400 East Commercial Boulevard.

According to court records, Candelaria is facing 1 charge of 1st-degree murder.
