FLORIDA (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 15-year-old girl last known to be in North Miami, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE identified the child as Lauryn Munoz Taffur. She is 15, female, and described as Black-Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes. FDLE listed her height as 4 feet 8 inches and her weight as 90 pounds.

The last known area provided in the alert is North Miami in Dade County.

Missing Child Alerts are intended to quickly push identifying information to the public so tips can reach law enforcement. In this case, FDLE is directing anyone with information to contact the North Miami Police Department.

North Miami Police Department can be reached at 305-891-8111. Anyone who believes they have immediate information is also asked to call 911.

For South Florida residents, the key details are the description and the last known area. People who live, work, or travel through North Miami and nearby parts of Miami-Dade County should watch for someone matching the description and report information directly to police.
