Daily Activities – 1/17/22

  • 8am – 10am
    • Free Community Boxed Breakfast – Courtesy of Developing Interracial Social Change (DISC)
      • Ebenezer Baptist Church Hall, 200 Ruby Street
  • 10am
    • March along Federal Highway from the MLK Jr. Memorial
      • Memorial, 200 Ruby Street, to the Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real
      • featuring the Boca Raton Community High School Band & Color Guard and FAU Jazz Band.
      • Trolley service is available for those requiring assistance.
  • 11am – 12pm
    • Join community leaders and local organizations for a ceremony to honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Mizner Park Amphitheater with keynote address speaker, Cairo Eubanks, a Humanitarian Award presentation and Mayoral proclamation.
  • 12pm – 3pm
    • Live musical performances

Traffic Alert

  • Palmetto Park Road El Rio Canal Bridge
    • Construction limits travel to one lane eastbound and one lane westbound.
    • Road closures for MLK march from 10am to 11am starting at Glades Road and Federal Hwy all the way to NE 2nd Street through Mizner Park.
