BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — The James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational is returning to Boca Raton March 2–8, 2026, with tournament play set at the Old Course at Broken Sound.
The event is billed as a premier PGA TOUR Champions stop that pairs championship golf with a football tie-in that’s unusual for the sport. Organizers say it brings together Pro Football Hall of Famers and top names from golf for a competition format built around both groups being on site during the week.
Tournament week runs from Monday, March 2, through Sunday, March 8. The field is expected to include 78 PGA TOUR Champions players competing for a $2.2 million purse. The three-day tournament is scheduled to be televised on Golf Channel.
A key part of the format is the presence of football legends on the course during the weekend. Organizers say 26 football legends will tee it up Friday and Saturday of the event, playing alongside the Champions Tour players on those days. For fans, that means the experience is not just a standard tournament loop of viewing holes and following groups — the week is set up to blend golf competition with recognizable football names, all in the same venue.
Tickets are currently on sale, with grounds access available through the Gridiron Grounds Pass. The pass is positioned as a walk-the-course ticket with access to fan viewing areas, plus food and drink options available along the way.
A weekly Gridiron Grounds Pass is listed at $84.99 and covers access to the grounds of the Old Course at Broken Sound Club from Thursday through Sunday. Single-day Gridiron Grounds Pass tickets are also available at $35.99 for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, with Thursday listed at a lower price point of $18.99 for that day’s grounds access.
Organizers are also offering a discount for ticket buyers using an exclusive promo code. Tickets purchased with the promo code BOCA2026 receive 10% off the total order.
Parking is sold separately, with general parking options listed as single-day standard parking for $15. A Friday–Sunday standard parking option is listed at $40.
Drivers are directed to different parking addresses depending on the day. For Monday through Saturday, the parking address is 4950 Communications Ave., Boca Raton, FL 33431. For Sunday, the parking address is 5000 T-Rex Ave., Boca Raton, FL 33431. Organizers instruct drivers to enter off Yamato Road.
For Boca Raton residents and visitors planning ahead, the main things to watch are the tournament week dates, the day-specific ticket options, and the weekend schedule when football legends are expected to be on the course. Parking locations also shift on Sunday, which could affect arrival planning for anyone attending later in the week.
