DELRAY BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — Delray Beach Police arrested 45-year-old Kenneth Williams after they say he slapped an elderly man at a Delray Beach park.

According to DBPD, marine unit officers arrested Kenneth Williams after he assaulted an elderly man at Veteran’s Park. Williams, 45, was charged with aggravated battery on an elderly person and was taken to the county jail.

Police say that Williams entered the park and jumped into the Intracoastal around 1:30 p.m. Minutes later, Williams got out of the water unclothed, approached the victim, and slapped him. The Delray Beach Marine Unit responded and took Williams into custody. The victim was not seriously injured.

Witnesses speaking exclusively to Boca Post report that Williams was walking around the park naked prior to the incident. Williams reportedly became agitated and was involved in several altercations with other individuals before he slapped the elderly victim. Witnesses say that Williams started doing pushups following the slap.
