Dylan Brewer, 19, Arrested

DELRAY BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — Delray Beach Police arrested 19-year-old Dylan Brewer of Clearwater for intentionally vandalizing a “Pride” intersection with his vehicle.

Delray Beach Police tells Boca Post that they arrested the 19-year-old after they  investigated an incident that occurred at the LGBTQ Pride intersection on NE 2nd Avenue on Sunday, February 4th, 2024.

According to witnesses, Brewer was observed performing multiple burnouts, apparently intentionally over the LGBTQ pride crosswalk at the intersection of NE 1st Street and NE 2nd Avenue, causing damage to the streetscape painting.

DBPD worked closely with the community to identify Brewer as the suspect who performed the destructive act of vandalism. Several witnesses provided officers with videos they recorded with their phones. Brewer turned himself in to DBPD this morning and has since been booked into the PBSO jail.

According to PBSO, Brewer is facing the following charges:

  • Moving Traffic Viol – Reckless Driving 1st Off
