Bso Investigating Early Morning Shooting In Deerfield Beach

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that a man has been killed in a shooting that occurred at approximately 3 AM this morning near the 800 block of 48th Street in Deerfield Beach.

Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred early Friday morning and left one man dead. 
At approximately 3 a.m. on Friday, May 20, BSO deputies responded to a report of a man lying in the roadway, not breathing, near the 800 block of Northeast 48th Street in Deerfield Beach. On scene deputies located an unresponsive adult male. The victim had sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on scene.
BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units are investigating the circumstances of this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact BSO Homicide Detective Louis Bonhomme at 954-321-4377.
