Barbara Fidler Of Boca Raton Dies After Deadly Accident

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) —86-Year-Old Barbara Fidler passed away in the hospital following a deadly crash in Boca Raton’s Century Village earlier this month.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that at approximately 10:39 AM on Friday, November 4th, 2022, deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash in Boca Raton’s Century Village.

Responding PBSO district deputies and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue located 86-year-old Barbara Fidler, who lived in the Exeter C building of Century Village, in critical condition after crashing into a tree.

PBSO investigators say that Fidler was driving a Hyundai Sonata eastbound on Century Village Boulevard. Fidler failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway and drove onto the grassy median causing the vehicle to crash into a tree. Fidler was transported to Delray Medical Center where she was later pronounced deceased in the hospital’s Hospice Unit on November 14, 2022.
