A man from Tamarac was arrested for making bomb threats against HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital. Guerdouin Montimer, aged 36, was apprehended by Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives and taken to BSO Main Jail on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred on July 15 at around 11;13 a.m. When an unidentified individual contacted Broward County Crime Stoppers to issue bomb threats against the hospital in Tamarac. After a thorough investigation, Montimer was identified as the suspect and was later arrested by BSO deputies in the Tamarac area.
Montimer is accused of falsely reporting the planting of a bomb, explosive or weapon of mass destruction. The investigators involved in the case are Detective J. Kessler and Sergeant S. Arroyo from TMU. The report was provided by Gerdy St. Louis/PIO on 7/18/24 at 1600 in Tamarac, RTCC.
